The Bible teaches there are five steps to the Plan of Salvation as taught in the New Testament. One must: Hear, Believe, Repent, Confess and be Baptized for the remission of sin to become a Child of God. Here is scriptural proof on this important matter. All scripture references are from the King James translation Hear: Act 2:22, 37; Roman 10:14,17 Acts 2:22 Ye
men of Israel, hear
these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and
wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves
also know: Believe: Act 16:31 Acts 16:31
And they said, Believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Repent: Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts 17:30 Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent,
and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission
of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now
commandeth all men every where to
repent:
Confess: Matt: 10:32-33, Roman 10:9-10
Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny
before my Father which is in heaven.
Be Baptized: Acts 2:38, Acts 8:12, 36-39, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21-22
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Acts 8:36
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch
said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be
baptized?
