Introducing the Deacons/Wives of the Church of Christ:

Shepherds have workers to carry on the daily business affairs of the church. These men are referred to by scripture as deacons. It is to the deacons that the congregation delegates responsiblity and authority for the day-to-day operations of the assembly. They are best known for meeting the spiritual needs of the flock.
